Breunig Steps Down As Men's Soccer
Coach
The Daniel Webster College athletic department has announced that Donovan
Breunig, men’s head soccer coach for the last four seasons, has resigned
in order to pursue other career opportunities.
“I wish to thank Donovan for all his hard work over the past four years
with our men’s soccer program,” said Vice President of Student Affairs
for Athletics Phil Rowe. “His tireless efforts and dedication to the
program as well as to Eagle athletics is a tribute to his outstanding
work ethic and we wish him well in the future.”
Rowe added that a search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
A member of the NCAA Division III Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC),
DWC sponsors 10 varsity programs including men’s soccer, women’s soccer,
men’s cross country, women’s cross country, women’s volleyball, men’s
basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and men’s lacrosse.
The college also sponsors men’s ice hockey as a member of the American
Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
