Jackson Nets NECC Player Of The Week Honors

Nashua – Daniel Webster College men’s soccer player Alex Jackson of Kent, Ohio has been named Player of the Week by the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC).

Jackson, a sophomore forward, notched two goals and assisted on a third as the Eagles posted a 2-0 record last week.

Jackson set up the first goal and notched the eventual game winner in the second half as the Eagles came from behind to defeat Suffolk University, 2-1 on September 23rd, and followed with a goal in the Eagles’ 4-2 NECC victory at Becker College on September 26th.

Through four games played this season, Jackson has posted three goals and one assist for seven points.

Under the guidance of third year Head Coach Bill Lawler, the Eagles stand 3-2 overall and return to action on Tuesday, September 29th as they host Mount Ida College on at 3:30 p.m.
