Bosques Named NECC Rookie Of the Week

Nashua - The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced Monday that Daniel Webster College women’s basketball player Vanessa Bosques of North Windham, Conn. has been named Conference Rookie of the Week.

Bosques, a freshman guard, notched 13 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field including two three pointers and added four rebounds, four steals and two blocks in the Eagles’ 75-40 season-opening victory at Anna Maria College on Saturday, November 15th.

Under the leadership of second year head coach Heather Jacobs, the Eagles stand 1-0 overall and return to action on Wednesday, November 19th when they host Johnson State College at 5:00 p.m.
