(Boston, Mass.) – Emerson College (3-2-2, 2-1-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference) built a 5-0 first half lead and coasted to a 6-0 victory over Daniel Webster College (0-6-0, 0-4-0 GNAC). Six different Lions scored in the contest in which the Lions out shot the Eagles 37-3.

Stephanie Hachem (FY, Shrewsbury, Mass.) led off the scoring only 3:59 into the game as she drove a shot from the left side to the upper right hand corner. Less than six minutes later Sara Hogan (Sr., Cumberland, R.I.) lobbed a shot to the top center of the net on an assist from Rachel Lerma (So., Irvine, Cal.). Hachem then assisted Lindsay D'Andrea (FY, Medford, N.J.) in the 11th minute.

The next two scores came off deflections by Daniel Webster goalkeeper Rose Chapman (So., Sanbornton, N.H.). Kim Richards (FY, Newbury Park, Cal.) went high, and Casey Whalen (Sr., Great Barrington, Mass.) drove a shot off Chapman's hands. Sarah Kneezle (Sr., Warren, Ver.) closed the scoring in the 81st minute on a breakaway.

Katie Hartman (Sr., Northfield, N./J.) has two first half saves for Emerson, while Chapman knocked 13 shots aside for the Eagles.

DWC returns to action Friday as they host Pine Manor at 4:00 p.m. in a GNAC contest.
