Kacie Lang Named NECC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Nashua - The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) yesterday announced that Daniel Webster College women’s soccer player Kacie Lang of Raymond, N.H. has been named Conference Rookie of the Week.

Lang, a freshman halfback, notched the game winning overtime goal in the Eagles’ 2-1 victory over Regis College September 15th. Lang added an assist in the game, setting up the game tying goal to force the extra session with 44 seconds remaining in regulation.

Under the leadership of head coach Tom McGuinness, the Eagles have won three straight games after a 0-2 start. The Eagles return to action Tuesday, September 23rd, when they travel to Lesley University for a NECC matchup beginning at 8:00 p.m.
