Eagles-Pine Manor Game Canceled, Host Bay Path Wednesday In NECC

Nashua - The Daniel Webster College women’s soccer game at Pine Manor
College, scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th, has been cancelled.
The Eagles now set their sites on their first postseason appearance since
the 2002 season - and only their second postseason game in program history -
this coming Wednesday, October 29th when they host Bay Path College in the
quarterfinal round of the six-team inaugural New England Collegiate
Conference championship tournament.
The fourth-seeded Eagles take on the fifth-seeded Wildcats beginning at 2:00
p.m. The winner advances to the NECC semifinals on Saturday, November 1st at
top seed and regular season champion Elms College. The championship game is
slated for Saturday, November 8th at the highest remaining seed.
The Eagles posted a 7-8 overall record and 5-3 mark in NECC play and will
come into the postseason winners of two of their final three contests. The
Eagles will be looking for their second win this season over the Wildcats,
having posted a 2-1 overtime victory on September 13th in Longmeadow, Mass.
Bay Path owns a 3-10-1 overall mark and finished 3-4-1 in NECC play.
